A simple way to not get rid of detail lines when coloring in- Is to use layers. If you use a selection tool on a high-translucency setting- you can grasp an area and then use a layer below the main line area to color in- This allows you to color it without messing up your linework.

Canucks pictures is a good example of this- Notice how well preserved the original lines are.

i did the colouring in by using gimp i COULD get rid of the little white spots BUT then i would be have to get rid of the wrinkles/lines as well picking hair colour and such



this was NOT a slap dash job i took care in getting the skin colour to look right as well as the outfit

@GTSLover27 That's probably because it's Shadow Rise, not the normal Rise. Then again, considering the nature of Shadows, what does this say about Rise, and what about this represents what she doesn't want people to see, and what people think about her?

That the coloring was done by a bucket tool- There are white artifacts around the lines where the tool failed to fill in- the types of artifacts that you will find within MsPaint if you do a poor coloring job- or save it in the default .JPG format...

There could be a significant number of improvments with this- and I'd really be surprised if this took more than a couple of minutes- Though- AGAIN- I will not be attacking how much time was spent- rather the improper job of coloring SB's picture..

I happen to be a fan of SB's work (I'm even working on an art-trade with him) - I thoroughly believe the black and white version of this piece in default is better than this one with a few splashed colors..

The color choice is questionable- but I'd forgive it if there was some form of consistency- There are multiple spots where the color is left white when it should be colored in- and spots where you can tell
