The colors of the giantess and the tiny were not chosen for contrast, they are trolls, and they are colored with the color of their blood.

It's understandble that this was misinterpreted if you aren't a homestuck fan 0u0

Also, the Libra troll is Terezi Pyrope and the small scorpio is Vriska Serket, in case some were unaware of that.
