Fun fact: She wasn't originally transgender. She was made that way for the US original release because the US didn't want to show females getting beaten on, for the most part. So her being transgender sort of stuck as a cult following and got incorporated into it.

It's a very good series for a 2D fighting game, thought the story line can be extremely confusing because it has to do with multiple time lines, dead ends and merging of time lines. However the game play and story are good. Perfect mixture of fan service and comedy to go with the grim dark story. They recently released an anime for the series called BlazBlue Alter Memory.
