Yeah, I didn't think GB would accept the format. In the past I've just included a link to a gfycat version of larger animations in comments/image descriptions. Not ideal, but it works.

we optimally want the highest resolution which sometimes means big pictures. If you cannot fully see/enjoy the picture here, then download and view at an appropriate size. Or like others have said, open the image by itself in a new tab and it should be entirely viewable

If you're in Chrome, right click on the image, then "Open Image in New Tab". It generally resizes the image to your browser, since it's just showing the image.

I'm pretty sure that the majority would enjoy a full sized pic that you can....you know...enjoy...instead of trying to enjoy an over-sized pic like this which requires you to CONSTANTLY SCROLL ALL OVER THE PLACE IN ORDER TO...at the very least...try to enjoy it...if you have an objection to what I have just said then I'd love to hear your possibly bullshit explanation...please by all means...explain...

Hey bobbob, love your work! Regarding file size of your animations, have you considered uploading them to gfycat? It basically converts them into the .webm format - you get the full resolution, (most of) the full image quality, and the file size is tiny. I think imgur recently brought out a simiar format, so that might be a good option too.
