Oh, that's because of how synonyms work when tagging. Have just realized and checked the tag history and both 'gore' and 'cruel' were put in, but the site checks both as synonyms and kept 'cruel'. In fact, if you check search for the 'gore' tag, you will find destruction, cruel... but not actual gore.

A pity the synonym editor no longer works, because not always being cruel or destroying things has to show gore. But that stuff is now beyond me, sorry.
