It's not though. While they do all look like males, the titans are a race of genderless monstrosities, that prey on the human race, so if anything, it's more like a crow devouring bits and pieces of a dead human body, except make that crow human-looking, x100 bigger, and able to a human full body.

Actually Mark, I think Ochiko meant for this to be a giant in the medieval times. Mainly because in many different portions of those times, men and women alike were known for wearing leggings of some sort. So I think these are more like tights (sort of like the ones Link would wear when in the Adult Era of Ocarina of Time)
