I'm about to learn Japanese, but in the meantime, I tend to follow a "let sleeping dogs lie" approach. We're not profiting off of it or anything. If they ask us to take down, we totally will, but as long as they aren't asking, maybe people will see the image, love it, and then go patronize the artist. Seems like a win-win to me.
